A great opportunity for the British Press to reveal its prejudices once more. The dreadful Daily Mail describes Napoleon as the second most famous Frenchman after Charles de Gaulle!
Even Time ends with a joke about Napoleon's height. I think he was in fact about half an inch shorter than Winston Churchill. Perhaps that is why Churchill admired him so much!

I stumbled upon your blog while searching for a picture of the medallion that Napoleon gave Josephine on their wedding day. I am so excited to find someone who loves everything Napoleon as much or more than I do. It's nice to meet you and I will be following your blog regularly. Desiree'
I am a black guy, so I dont know what Napoleon would think of me admiring him this much. For me Napoleon is an alternative to british baised views of world history and greatness. He is a man of great honour who surely stand with alexander the great and julius ceasar. Long live the emperor.

Holy crap! Someone who adores Napoleon as much as I do! So glad to know I'm not only in my obsession.
